Being a cyclist and having a bunch of cycle specific tools I sometimes find other uses for them. I found that a bicycle tire lever from Park Tool works perfect to pop off the Pony wheel center caps without any scratching.

They are 6 bucks for a 3 pack of them.

I use to have those rims, i forgot what I used but that reminds me of a trim removal tool, either way nice find!

Thanks for this tool tip. I bought the 3 pack from Amazon when you posted this and tried it yesterday when delivered. Wow! Best tool to pop those caps ever! Wish I had that years ago! Very easy and no scratching.

Glad you like it. I used a trim tool in the past. But sometimes I'd have to use 2 of them. Get it started with one and then stick the second one in there to pop it off. Then the other day I couldn't find my trim tool and saw my bicycle tire lever sitting there and thought hmmm....

Honestly it's like it was made exactly for this purpose!
