Center Console Removal for a 96 Vert??

Anyone have a write up on this?? I want to get some new carpet and put it in.
My carpet is pretty nasty

It is real hard to get it out, at least it was on my 01 Gt and my 03 Cobra...

It helps to pull the e-brake handle up as FAR as possible.

Just take your time and try not to break anything.

i think i am going to put Black carpet in and add to the already existant two tone theme.

It helps to pull the e-brake handle up as FAR as possible.

I would advise against this, i tried it and snapped the cable. What i ended up doing is removing the e-brake assembly as it bolts to the tunnel. Made it muuuuuch easier.
