I was wondering if anyone knew how the wiring behind the shifter on a 1998 Mustang GT convertible (the wires/harness that power the cigarette lighter directly below the CD player) connected to the main harness?
When my center console was stolen, they took the wiring as well and I need to know how it works before I go tearing my dash apart. I am going to try to go to the junk yard today and find a dark charcoal center console from an 01+ and would like to make sure:
A) If that specific wiring is compatible with the 1998 GT
B) Can the wiring be connected/disconnected without removing the main dash components
C) How will the fog lights be re-wired?
Also, does anyone have a wiring diagram and/or pictures of the wiring directly in front of the e-brake in the 1998 GT (preferably convertible)?
