Anyone know someone with a 94-98 stang that has done this? I'm curious as to what it'll look like with both tail pipes exiting in the middle instead of one on each side.

It runs right next to the tank so it being under will probably add more protection if the car even bottomed out in the rear... Dont think heat from the pipes will be an issue. Theres also a plastic guard on the bottom side of the tank.

I saw a 96-98 GT at a car show with a whole 99+ Saleen kit including the center exhaust, I almost wet myself. I think it would look good on your car with the two stripes there.

Its ok to me, probably because the tips are probably only 2.5 inches, but if they were a bigger, it would look nice. Although, its also not advisable to have the tips wider than 2.5. I like the normal way.

1105, just go for the side exhaust if ur gonna go different. It will probably look exactly like oink did (unless u get a new bumper or something) and IMHO it sucks. Of course i even hate the porshes with the center exhaust... soo

Murkstangs side exiting system RULES and with your stripes, OMG it would look fantastic!!! (i believe he's got the svo)

I think if you had continued your stripes down the back it would be hot, but as it stands I say stick with the standard placement.

well i dont really like how it looks. the 94-95 stangs look for wide and beefy with the horizontal lights and putting the pipes in the center kind of makes it look smaller. i dont know. just my .02

Zach, i still have my Side exhuast covers, if you wana buy them.. 50 bucks? They go for $200 new.. You would just need to get some mufflers welded up to exit the side ( daytona st& performance can do this with your flows, or any other muffler)

There is a fox body in town here who had a center exhaust. It looked awful. You see the pipes running from under the car along the rear bumper to two tips. With the tank right there, there is no way you'll be able to hide the exhaust minus the tips.

Oink, i sent you a pm.

I also think with bigger tips and stripes down the back, it would look killer!

it would probably hang down too low and look ghetto without a different bumper other than stock. U need a cutout or something so it looks as if it was designed to fit through the hole. I think the Saleens with the center exhaust is my favortie rear bumper/exhuast setup though. If u could make it work without being ghetto i'd probably do it myself after u.

Yeah I think it looks good too.

OT Looking at those 03 cobras makes me so anxious to get mine. They look awesome on every car I've seen. I ordered mine April 28th! Every month the same nice lady answers my call and says they will be in at the end of the month. She always politely asks if I want to cancel my order but I don't. Cause I'm afraid they will receive their shipment the day after I cancel my order.

Looks absolutely horrendous. Keep it the factory style please. Also, it'll make it more of a bitch to drop the gas tank if it even has to be dropped. Spend that money on speed parts, save it or fix something thats wrong with the car. Dont waste on something like that. I'm all for being creative, but thats absolutely fugly. I'd lose the stripes too if it were me, but its your car not mine

IMO lookswise that's impossible to pull off without a body kit. If you want different, you could always bring em out the side and up the B-Pillars like a semi.
