So I want to make the transition from my side exhaust to a center rear exhaust (similar to 69Clark)....the only kit out there is just from the axle back and you are supposed to cut into the existing catback....problem is that I dont have an exisiting catback because of the side exit so my question is....do I have to buy a new catback just to hack into it? Or are there any other solutions...custom bent tubing?

I dont believe they make it for a 98 GT.....and I want it because I want to be a bit different, thats why i did the side exhaust but now that seems really popular, Im trying to stay ahead of the game

If you want center exhaust get a Ford Focus or something like that. I give your idea two thumbs down

Depends on the car, everyone tells me my center exhaust looks bad a$$

But the best part is the sound it makes ! Totally different from the bassani tail pides I had earlier, and sounds like no other stang on the road!

Personally I hate the looks of center exhaust. Ok, maybe not on a Pantera.
But how often do we see one of those with the upswept headers and all.

If your bumper isn't made for it (i.e. like a Saleen is), then it looks horrible.

Im getting the same bumper 69Clark has....so it is made for a center exit setup....Im liking the idea more and more, I just have to find a way to run the pipes over the axle and out the back without spending a fortune.
