I am getting ready to install a gauge cage with Oil press. and Water temp gauges.

Both gauges are mechanical. I know the oil line will be easy.

Any suggestions on the mechanical water temp install where to route the sending line etc.
I have not gotten the gauge yet so Im not certian how long the sending unit line will be or of its construction.

looks like 72" of coolant temp wire to work with. 6 foot should be eough if I can run straight through the dash through the firewall and to a coolant passage.

I had my thermo housing tapped for the sensor.
It works perfect.

Im just concerned about where I am going to route the metal temp sender cable at this point. It will start out at the center vent and go from there.
