Each has it's own advantages/disadvantages. What are your plans for the car?

imo for a street car that gets daily drive roots is the only way to go.

but if its a drag racer and you dont want to spend too much then a centri will do the deed

It's too simplistic to ask which is "better." Both transform the car in somewhat different ways. I think generally speaking you can make more peak power with a centri but more low-end with a PD. Either are wicked street fun. I like my PD on city streets at leisurely RPM but I bet a centri is a blast on on-ramps...

from someone who has driven both a high HP centri and a high HP KB car. i prefer the KB for street driving if i had to pick a blower for a sub 500 HP car

Wow thanks y'll for the info, yeah my eventual goal is a Livernois Stroker 298 2 valve short block, and I wanted to super charge it, but wasnt sure on which to go with, just trying to do a little research. Supposed to be getting my M.M. C/C Plates today. So the Centri. is for more high RPM, and the Twin Screw is more Torque at Low RPM? But at the same token different Strokes for different folks.

At the risk of oversimplification, this is generally true. That's not to say that properly-sized twinscrews can't work at high-RPM but it's where centris shine.
