Cervinis front end clearance

Those of you out there that have the C series front end and have maybe lowered the car, have you had many problems pulling into driveways or encountered other problems like that? I love that set-up, but having it as a DD, it makes me nervous to put money into that set-up.

I've heard of a few problems with the side skirts for the exhaust. So that would lead me to assume the front fascia is just as bad if not worse. That's what you get though. If you just go slowly over places you know are bad, it shouldn't be a huge issue.

I sometimes do have to go a little sideways up bumps so the bumper doesnt scrape. It is not a huge problem though if you go slow, but my car is not lowered.

Ours is not lowered. We've only scrapped the front once, and that was a big unexpected bump. The exhaust hit twice, and that was on a very large driveway entrance that we fully expected not to be able to drive over (but had to that day). I think at stock height, the bumper is just over 5" off the ground, but I could be wrong. If noone has replied, I'll go out and measure. BTW, if you do a larger drop in the rear, that'll help not drop the front end so far, because it'll level the car out.

Thanks for the insight! As much as I like the whole front assembly, I know that I want to lower the car, so it might not be a good idea. (especially w/ my driveway!!) Thanks again!

low front=bad everyday driver. i have the cervini B9 chin spoiler(which fit absoltuly horrific btw) and the clearance is only 3.5 with no lowering!! so go with something high, cause the first time you scrape, you'll wanna cry. haha

My car has been lowered 1" and it can be challenging, especially speed bumps. I don't think I have hit the front end yet, bu have hit the exhaust pipes or mufflers a couple of times. They seem to hang slightly lower than the side skirts themselves, so no visible damage. Here's a couple of shots of my car:

I measured mine. At stock ride height, it's 5 1/2" off the ground. So even with a 1" drop (1.4" or so in the rear), it wouldn't be bad at all.

Ya i got the Cervinis C series front bumper on my 05 with the Eibach Pro-Kit and its stupid. Putting the 20" rims on there helped it out a bit as it sits right now it is just above 4" of the ground at the lowest point and up here in saskatchewan that isnt a good thing
