Cervinis w/o hood pins anyone??

I know this has been kicked around a good bit but I thought I'd give the dead horse one last beating.

Anyone running a cervinis cowl hood without pins???

or

If you'd never run a glass hood without 'em, what brand are you running?

I have a Cervinis 2.5" cowl hood, (not Cobra R) no hood pins. 7 years and no problems

no pins in my cervinis i hate pins thats why i bought a cervinis hood

H.O Fibertrends 3.5 in cowl w/ no pins.

I might get some though. I cut the back out for a vent and some gauges and the back of the hood shakes at high speeds. Probably dont need them but I probably will get them.

Cervini's 3.5" Cobra R, no pins, been over 150 and it didn't fly off...so I think its all good.

Yea, Iver also been over 110 w/ my H.O. fibertrends hood, and it is still there.

Fits perfect...

hrm...cobras had a different ABS light than my 94 gt?

I need to remove that bulb still.. I hate ford abs. so I pulled the fuse.

One thing to consider..
Sometimes, if you go racing at a track and you have a non-factory fiberglass hood, they may not let you race without hood pins for safety reasons.

That pic of the 150mph looks similar to one my friend took with his car in the air and the ABS light came on due to the different wheel speeds, i.e. front tires not moving. IF that one is authentic then its bad ass. Hopefully a passenger took the pic...
