Champion Cc338 Aluminum Radiator Fitment

I know I haven't posted anything in a very long time, sadly life has gotten in the way of almost everything I want to do! Anyway, I am slowly getting back to work on my 69 Cougar. I bought a champion radiator CC338, as it was "supposed" to be a direct fit.
Sadly, no.
My question is, what aluminum radiator did you buy, that fit without cutting the lower radiator support arms off the car!?!?!?

Any input will be appreciated! Looking forward to getting the best fitting radiator, for the application!

My issue isn't so much the height of the neck even, as much as the height of the square tank, that comes up over the top of the radiator support. I have seen some that fit the height better, and that is what I am looking for. I hate having spent the money, only to find out years later, (yes, literally years) that it isn't right!

Wow, nobody else has bought an aluminum radiator that they are happy with?
