Change transmission fluid

I have a 2004 40th Anniversary pony, 5 speed. I checked the owners manuel to when the trans fluid should be changed. There is no info in there on that topic. So....is there a standard for changing the transmission fluid? Mileage? Age? Clutch replacement? It is a stock stang so tranny is probably T3650, but not sure

Rule of thumb is 30,000 miles. Wouldn't hurt to flush the fluid if it's an automatic and you are unsure when the last time it was changed.

While you're at it, pull the shifter plate on to of the tyranny and clean that out. I had a bunch of gunk built up in mine. After I cleaned it out, I can shift gears with two fingers.

Ford recommends auto trans fluid change every 30K.
Manual trans change every 60K.

Clutch life is dependent upon driver and driving style. Replace it when it convenient or it starts to slip.
