Changed Clutch and now it doesn't move when in gear

ok it started out i was just going to change the pilot and throw out bearing but I decided to change the clutch since I was down there and didn't want to deal with that starter again in six months. Well I put everthing back on and the car runs but when it goes into gear nothing happens I don't even have to press the clutch in to shift through the gears. It just sits there running as if it were in nuetral. Any suggestions and the tranny is perfectly fine. I think it is a throw out bearing issue because the fork seems really close as if it was already pushed in ? I am going to mess wth it tomorrow but I though i would ask some of you for suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

check your cable, make sure it isn't bound up and is adjusted properly. Make sure the clutch fork is mounted correctly. Get under there and have a buddy hit the clutch for you with the inspection plate off. Make sure it's moving the way it should.

Did you adjust the clutch cable? You should be able to reach down there and pull up (towards the driver's seat) repeatedly to adjust the cable until it clicks.

the pressure plate did not have any blocks/bolts you had to remove? some clutchs have them for ease of install and you have to remove after. I can't see where clutch adj will keep it released.not releasing but not held released
