My i finally got my turbo header and 3" exhaust(Thanks Josh). I am extremely happy with the results of the install. Redid all my intercooler piping and exhaust. Made a huge difference in power and spool of the turbo. Cant wait for winter to pass to i can get it to the track and see how it runs. Heres a couple of pics:

looks nice I might have some questions for you regarding your setup if you do not mind

No not at all ask away. Feel free to give me a call if you would like 602-459-0212 cell or 503-829-5377 home Got to take the car out for a little drive yesterday before the rain hit, car is running extremely well and making a heck of alot more power with the new exhaust, header and intercooler piping set up. Cant wait to get it to the track, Easy low 12's the way it sits now, little race gas and few more pounds of boost 11's are in my future no problem!

What was your prior best ET if you dont mind me asking. Would be pretty impressive if you went high 11s or low 12s for that matter with a stock throttle body and an inline intake. What kind of boost are you running?

Just cause it has an inline intake and a stock throttle body doesnt mean a whole lot. By next season it will have a 65mm t-body,but even at that the intake will not and does not make a difference. The intake has been hogged out as far as you possibly can and flows just as good as my head does. There will be no problem with this car running 12's. Bone stock the car ran 14.8 at 96 with the boost at 20psi through the stock exhaust and completely stock motor. Now its got the stroker, ported and polished big valve head and much, much, much more. So two seconds off that is deffinetly not out of the question, even 3 seconds is out of the question at 25 psi with the bigger turbo and race gas. But we will see for sure when next season come around.

Easy, wait till you get a number before you go spounting off. I dont know you, but I seen your car. A 3 sec drop is quite a bit harder to achieve then your making it sound. There are V8 turbo cars on here that dont run 11's.:nice:

I meant no offense. I just would have found it intriguing if you were able to go that fast with a stock TB. My understanding was the inline intake didnt bode itself as well to porting as the square bore. I will be very interested in seeing how that thing runs. BTW what size stroker and turbo are you running?

V8 turbo car slower than 11s?

.... will who ???

:rlaugh:

But seriously, it looks allright for a diy job, you did good. If you are interested, there is an outfit on hwy99 in P-town that does some nice ceramic coating work (did the headers for my pops truck). You could grind the welds smoothe on your IC piping and have them coated, would give it a nice finished look. Let me know if you need his name.

Also (imho) you will need to get your suspension sorted out before looking for huge gains in et. If you are set up to carve corners, then don't be suprised if you are still in the 13s, but with a 12 sec trap speed.

actually if you had seen my car and knew anything about it or me you would know that it is tottally set up for drag racing, it has d&d tube k member, d&d tube control arms, coil overs, lakewood lower control arms, doulbe adjustable upper control arms, sphericale upper control arm bushings, all poly urathane bushings thru out the car, sub frame connecters, chromaly 6 point cage, 90/10 front struts, and 50/50 rear shocks. plus everything that is done to the motor. i have owned 6 11sec cars in the past and built countless 11sec and faster cars, so i think that when i go spouting off a number like that im pretty confident that it will be correct. and if there is or was someone onthis board with a V8 turbo car going slower then mid to high 11's they need to learn to drive or learn to tune there car correctly.

Thanks to everyone who had something nice to say!!
