Changing clutch with longtubes

What's the easiest way to change a clutch with BBK long tube headers?

easiest way i know of is to remove one of hte long tubes and proceed as usual.

i've never done one so i can't say...but im pretty sure you have to remove the LTs to do the clutch.....which is why everyone HATES droind a clutch when they have LTs

i think you have to drop the pass side header.

you *may* be able to get by with just disconnecting the pax side header and moving it out of the way.

remove passenger side header. by dropping K.
Other will tell you that you can remove them without dropping K, but amount of time it takes to yank them out with K- member in place takes longer then dropping K menber. specially with dreaded 3rd starter bolt
drop k, remove starter, and start unboltin trans

there are 3 starter bolts???? mine only has 2 in it!

I was told that most people leave top bolt off. Other 2 will hold starter in fine.
But I left mine on, because i know I'll take K off to do any clutch work, and if K is off, 3rd bolt is right there
