Changing emblems

Im changing emblems, and am wondering what you guys use to clean off the old glue without damaging the paint, also i dont want to use a razor blade..

go to your local Autozone and in to the paint aisle > and look for a small bottle of PREPSOL > it's paint perp solvent it won't hurt your paint and long as you don't por the whole bottle on one spot > just put some on a CLEAN RAG > better if you use cotton> (like a old CLEAN sock) and then gentle rub> it WILL REMOVE YOUR WAX but won't hurt your paint and IT will remove every thing from you emblem

I just used a heat source (hair dryer in my case). Heat it up, and just peel the emblem off. Then, you can roll the adhesive off the paint with your fingers. Be advised that the "Ford" emblem on the decklid is mounted with a stud, and therefore you will need to fill in the hole if you want to remove it.
