Changing from stock exhaust manifolds on 1965 289 engine to hipo exhaust manifolds

I am currently in the process of rebuilding the engine from my '65 coupe and I want to install "new repro" hipo exhaust manifolds on the engine. Will I have to modify the new manifolds to accept the mounting bolt for the heat riser currently on the original exhaust manifolds?
Will the heat riser still fit on the vehicle?
Looking for feedback before I spend the money for the new manifolds and find out that it is more trouble than what I'll gain in performance.

There was no heqr riser on Hipo cars, they used manual chokes. If you car is a manual transmission you will also need to swap out the Z bar to a Hipo unit to clear the driveres side manifold.
