The V-6 grill is too small for the opening on the gt bumper, Boss...Us sixers have to hack our bumper to stuff the GT grill in there. Why would you want to do the reverse? I am okay with it. It's your car. I am just trying to figure out what you intent is with the replacement, so I can assist you a little better. Did you get this V-6 Grill for free?
(and FAIR WARNING.. You will probably get a rash of doo-doo for even trying this from the fellas... .. so be prepared.. )
Eh, there should be some kits out soon that will replace the GT grill with the v6 style. Go for it and people will have one less thing to consider when they question if its a v8 model or not. If I were to do it.... it would be a billet grill with a pony emblem.
How much smaller is the grill? Is the difference in the width, height, or both? Anyone know of a black mesh grill replacement (not bolt over) without lights for a GT?
are you trying to make some sorta crazy sleeper or what? i mean maby you just like the v6 grill more but i dunno i guess personal preference. but post pics if you do end up doing this
