Changing Oil??

hey whats up, i'm gonna need an oil change soon and was thinking about changing to synthetic. i currently run castrol gtx 10w30. just wanted to know if synthetic or synthetic blend would be alright or better to run in my car. any input is greatly appreciated. thanks

mobil 1 5w30 with a motorcraft filter. you shouldnt really be using a 10wxx oil because of the greater viscosity at low temps, remember the w stands for winter ie a 5w is thinner when cold than a 10w. the ohc motors have fairly thin oil passages and the cams can get starved for oil on cold startup. that being said, the same motors used here get 20w50 in other countries.
