How do you change the brake light in a light bar. My friend just got a light bar installed and the brake light dosent work. The shop that installe dit told her it was the light everything else worked fine, so my question is how in the world do you change it

The light is just wedged in the bar. If you take a flathead screwdriver and gently pry at either end of the light, you can pull it out (be sure to put something between the screwdriver and vinyl to avoid damaging the vinyl with the screwdriver). Undo the wiring and check the light with a cordless drill battery to see if it works.

Is the light bar brand new? I'll bet if it is brand new that the shop didn't know how to hook it up correctly. There is a "rat's nest" of wires behind the back seat that you have do dig into to find two wires out of about a hundred. The green wire is really hard to locate as there are a few green wires with different bands. Did the shop have the wiring instructions that come with it?

If the bar isn't brand new than maybe it is the light...

Also make sure the light is in the right way. something got f*d up with mine and we hooked everything out and nothign happened. then we took it out tested the light and switched how it connected and it worked. something about LED's only working 1 way--i dunno but that might be the problem.
