i got a new throttle body a accufab 70mm to replace my bbk one same size. i know it's real simple to change but was unsure if i would need to reset the tps. i'm not a mechanic so most of the real stuff i get my mechanic to do but the simple stuff i try to do. i have never messed w/ the tps. anything i should know that i may not about changing it?

TPS is easy. There are two screws on top of the TPS, loosen them both. Take a digital volt meter and probe the green wire while grounding the black wire when the key is in the ON position (dont run the motor). You volt reading should be as close to .99v as possible without going over, you accoplish this by twisting the TPS clockwise or counter clockwise. In some cases you must file or grind away material from the TPS to gain the require range of motion needed to achive .99v. When your done tighten down screws. :nice:

BTW why did you switch from 70mm BBK to a 70mm Accufab?
