charging battery how long does it take? asap

ive been listening to music in my car while i was cleaning it and i go to start it and i just get this clicking noise so now i am charging it....how long does it take to charge it?....and how long will it last for ?

It depends on what rate you are charging it at. If you are charging it at 2 amps, it will take an hour or so ... If you are charging at 12 amps, it varies (but less than an hour usually). Just charge it until you can crank it up ... then drive around the block a couple times and it should be fine.

Yeah you should be able to charge it for like 15 min and get enough juice to power it up, then take it down an interstate/highway or something for another 15 or so minutes and you should be fine.

If it died after just listening to music, then you may need a new battery soon.

Once you drain a battery down, they are never the same.

If the car is a 5-spd you could always put it in 2nd and roll it/push it and pop the clutch
