i have a 1984 convert was an v6 auto car but was converted to 5.0 and 5 speed now wont charge has a HEI distributor and new alternator and ignition module from autozone i thinks its missing a wire please help the alternator has a orange and light blue wire and also a black and orange wire also i have the alternator grounded to the battery wiring diagram shows a white and black wire to the electric choke which my car does not have it starts and runs fine but will not charge any ideas ??????????????????
