Charging problem

The battery gauge on my 94GT drops down to about the 'N' in normal when at idle. When I'm driving it, it reads in the 'M' range.

The alternator has been replaced, negative battery cable has been replaced, and I dropped in a red top Optima battery. Still the same thing happens.

The battery and alternator checked out good with my ohm meter. There is no discharging from the battery when the car is off either. Now I'm at a lose of things to do?! Could it be my positive battery cable? Underdrive pulleys (though the stock alt. pulley is currently on)?

It's your pullies dude. Don't worry about it, mine does the same thing. Jut pray you never get stuck in traffic too long - lol..........

its not really a problem. bump the idle up a little bit
