i just got a new spec clutch kit put in bout a week ago and rolling out of first and reverse there is a bad chattering. the slower i roll out of first the worse it is. is this just the after market clutch getting broken in or is there something wrong. i also got a ford cable put in along with a quadrant and fwa. it also does it a little bit if im down ****fting into second or third but the worst is coming from a dead stop. please let me know whats going on thanks.

My FMS clutch said "Clutch chatter is normal upon installation of performance clutches. A break in period of 500 miles is required for smooth operation".

My spec stage II clutch chattered for about 500 miles or so. Its perfectly normal. Just needs to break in. Take it easy on it during the break-in or the chattering may linger.
