I assuming that "ignition area" means the top of the motor. Any DTC's? How does the car drive? Any noise during startup? While running?
How long does the noise last? How many miles?
Is it possible that it is coming from the front acc drive (bad idler/tensioner bearings)? You can't hear it while the motor is running but can when turned off.
The timing chains could make this kind of noise. However, this usually happens on start up.
Can you post a vid so we can hear it? I really can't think of anything off the top of my head.
