Cheap ebay 'Chips'

I always browse ebay looking for random things for my Mustang and I have seen several "2-stage performance chips' that sell for like $3. They claim to add 10-15hp by making your car think the air is colder. I would never try somthing like this off ebay, but I was wonder if anyone knows anything about these?

I know what your talking about. I would never put that crap in my car. Its on ebay for $3 for a reason.

yeah thats what I thought. reading the sellers reviews are funny...people don't seem to happy with the 'chip'

Its not even lying either (well youre not gonna get THAT much HP but you still do) the problem is that youre actually hurting your car. You can always pull more power out of your engine if you can afford to hurt it.

Dont buy it.

it's the old resistor mod encased in a 10 cent radio shack project box and then a sticker stuck on it.

you will be better off just going to your local Wal-Mart and seeing what they have for our cars than to buy that.
