I have the chance to AQUIRE a 2003 Cobra w/ 12,000 miles for dirt cheap. and Im wondering whats gonna be the better deal in the long run and cheaper. Cobra engine with 12,xxx miles or my current 03 GT block w/ 51,xxx and a KB 2.6...My wallet size has increased since x-mas thanks to the little woman and some back pay the army owed me so its time to FIX THE BEAST...Opions please guys.. Thanks !!:SNSign: :SNSign:

well an optimal choice is the lower milage 4V, it costs less to mod for HP and is more reliable cuz it's made to be FI. While the 2.6 on your 2V sounds fun, it's more of a gamble - plus your car is worth more now before you make it FI and thats its pretty low miles. Buying a cobra would make more sence IMO

Thanks guys..so cobra swap it will be, Ill post pics of the progress next week, Im gonna pick up the motor on saturday, and me and the mad doctor will get to work ripping the old on out. Thanks guys...For the support

Motor, the lovely 6 speed trans, and harness, all for ............................3,000$$$ I LOVE IT !!!!! poor old man, was rear-ending and was parting out his kewbra, I work on computers for him and he knows I love stangs so he offered it to me.

On another note..will I need to disable the pats ..or will the Kewbra swap into the GT no problem??
