Dont know what to replace or what it could be. ANyone else have this expereice. I just got my headswap done too.

P1132 Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Rich - Bank No. 1.

Means problem with passenger side oxygen sensor, upstream of the cats. I had a similar code (P1131) and I replaced the sensor, no problems now. Are you running rough? Rough idle? Surging while cruising? I'd say replace the sensor and see what that does.

Remember you have two sets of O2 sensors.

One set is right after your exhaust manifolds (upstream) and one set is after your cats (downstream). So if the sensors before the cats are getting odd readings then it's probably not the cats (at least I wouldn't think, I could be wrong... though I have heard Bassani cats = )

Either way, good luck figuring it out.. I've told you all I know on the subject

I just had my codes pulled today and i remember them saying something about the fuel air meter too. I also recently just swapped my heads. I think mine was 2 different codes. One for the O2 sensors and the other for the fuel air meter. If someone knows more about this please post

I'm not sure what to clean them out with. I wonder what is it about the headswap that is causing this code to be thrown. I really need to get this thing straight so i can get my inspection sticker.

i read somewhere that the car is trying to compensate for an overlean condition. not sure. I am going to clean the MAF and see how that works out. Can the Fuel Injectors be cleaned out, or should i just replace them?

Use the MAF sensor cleaner specifically for MAF sensors. CRC seems to be the most common. Carb/brake cleaner is way too strong and can destroy it.

P1132 - Lack of HO2S-11 Switch

Why did you perform a headswap? Did any anti-freeze/oil get into the exhaust? If so, possible that has ruined the O2 sensor.

P1132 - Lack of HO2S-11 Switch, Sensor Indicates Rich
P1130 - Lack of HO2S-11 Switch, Fuel Trim at Limit
The HEGO Sensor is monitored for switching. The test fails when the HO2S fails to switch due to circuit or fuel at or exceeding a calibrated limit.

Electrical:
Short to VPWR in harness or HO2S
Water in harness connector
Open/Shorted HO2S circuit
Corrosion or poor mating terminals and wiring
Damaged HO2S
Damaged PCM

Fuel System:
Excessive fuel pressure
Leaking/contaminated fuel injectors
Leaking fuel pressure regulator
Low fuel pressure or running out of fuel
Vapor recovery system

Induction System:
Air leaks after the MAF
Vacuum Leaks
PCV system
Improperly seated engine oil dipstick

EGR System:
Leaking gasket
Stuck EGR valve
Leaking diaphragm or EVR

Base Engine:
Oil overfill
Cam timing
Cylinder compression
Exhaust leaks before or near the HO2S(s)

A fuel control HO2S PID switching across 0.45 volt from 0.2 to 0.9 volt indicates a normal switching HO2S.
