I just put in my new motor(a Coast High 331). After driving it around for about 5 minutes the check engine light comes on. It does this every time but I do not notice any type of driving problems. I dont have a scanner to test it, so I was just hopeing that someone else might have run into this problem before. Thanks for the help.

do you have a paperclip? in the FAQ at the top of this page is info on retrieving codes. your repair manual also has the goods. so does FFI. so do links posted by Jrichker.
