Check Engine light question

I just bought a 96 GT and the person told me that the check engine light comes on because of the x-pipes he had put on them. He said he took it to get it checked out and it has been that 3 times. Has anyone else had this problem or should I get it checked out.

Looks like you will need MILs on the back o2 sensors

If it is a Off-Road X-pipe You will have to get the MIL elminator....These elminators tirck your computer into thinking that you have Catlatic Convertors......Then it will prolly Go Off.
