Check Engine Problem Help!

Hopefully Easy Problem Please Help!

I got the Check Engine light on. Took it somewhere and they tested to see what the code was. And it came back saying, "Control Fuel Air Metering" Whatever that means. That is word for word from the machine they were using. Anyone know what this code means and how to fix it. Thanks!

sounds like an 02 sensor maybe? what number did they give you? should start with a "P".

Crap I dont know the number, I just took down what the machine was reading off... OOPs... Anyone else know what this could mean. The problem though is that my car is running horrible, when I accelerate it stutters, and runs rough. I would imagine that an 02 sensor would not cause this??
