Check Engine?! O2 sensors?

My car has the stock h-pipe with gutted cats. After about running it for approx. ten minutes, my check engine light comes on. I ran a diagnostic on it, and I got back the code for the O2 sensors. This may seem like a stupid question, but can I correct it by simply replacing the sensors? or am I screwed do to the fact that my cats are no longer there? I'm a pretty big retard when it comes to cars, so I appologize for my ignorance. Any help is greatly appreciated.

i would make sure im not running lean first (bad FP, regulator, etc), if you tossed both O2's. it could be the sensors, but since you got both, it could be a primary fuel issue - the lambdas only 'read' what the engine is putting out. if the engine does not have the right amount of 'food', the lambdas reading can reflect that.

lambdas should be 0.1 to 1.0 volt - less voltage is leaner. they do go bad over time, and they also get to be slower to react.

just some info. good luck.
