I didn't mean to start an uproar!
I just added my .02 worth.
I don't think the wing belongs on a capri.
You are right it is up to the owner of the car.

Also capri83 if you decide to ditch the wood grain I have some cobra pieces let after my last project. They are all black if you didn't know.

Agreed- I wouldn't want it on a Capri either. It was the ricer generalization I was uproaring over.

Good luck finding another 5.0 Capri around. They are super rare. Don't touch a damn thing on the ass end of the car! As Kyle said earlier, its a damn capri its supposed to have the ugly bubble hatch. If you want a mustang hatch on it, just buy a mustang and sell the capri to someone thats gonna keep it....well....a capri!

As was stated earlier, the Fox Capri did not always come with the bubble hatch. If anything, the ones that didn't have the bubble hatch are far more rare. It is no less a Capri with a Mustang hatch, since the pre-bubble Mustang and Capri hatches and rear bumper covers were identical in every way. What wasn't identical, however, are the Capri tail lights that went with the pre-bubble hatch (which are nearly impossible to get); and as was also mentioned earlier, the bubble hatch tail lights only work out with the bubble hatch. If they could be found, however, the correct Capri tail lights with a 'stang hatch would make for an arguably better looking and still authentic Capri. They did, after all, use the same hatch and rear bumper cover as the 'stangs before the bubble hatch was conceived. So, which one is used should only be a matter of personal aesthetic preference.
