It really doesn't look like I'm going to have the money to buy the tires for these this Summer. So, I decided to get some use out of them "one way, or another". I used a table top (tempered glass) from an old coffee table that had a really ugly frame that I threw away a long time ago. This is MUCH better to look at.

I have the 9" ones in the basement. Maybe I can make a night stand. Hmmmm.

Tell me about it! Me too! I need to be "far enough ahead" financially to justify buying tires. Thing is, I have some Cobra brakes that need to go on, too. They just won't fit under the 16" "waffles".

Maybe next Spring.....

Those things have a serious lip Table looks great! Are those 17" or 18". If they are 17" why don't you just slap some cheap Sumitomo's on there for the time being

That's nothing, there's a lawyer around here that has a Maserati V-8 engine(DOHC I believe) enclosed in his table.

Excellent idea! I actually got the idea for this table a few years ago when I was doing some work on some Champ (CART) car wheels for Tasman Motorsports. They were 15" x 14"(wide) BBS wheels, made of magnesium. With all of the team markings on them, they would have been really cool conversation peices.

I hope I don't have these as "table legs" for long! Thanks for the kudo's, too!
