2004/DeeGee - it is really unfortunate that this thread has turned into mere insults and name calling. Stangnet is a great place with very knowledgable members that contribute a lot to the site. There is absolutely no need for either of you to insult any of them as a result of me commenting on your GF's car. I am absolutely amazed that my comment about a build picture upset you so much. Of course, my very positive comments about your cobra and mach went unnoticed. You should have said "Here are pictures of my car(s) but only say positive things because I can't handle any criticism."

Someday you will realize that constructive criticism is what makes us all work harder and reach many goals that we set for ourselves. Again, Stangnet is a great site and it's the members that make it a great place to visit. I hope you realize this and refrain from personal attacks that just show a lack of maturity and contribute nothing to the site, especially since we don't know you and you don't know anything about us.

i was mature the whole time and id like to point out that you were the one who called me a HACK and turned my g/f's car into a HACK JOB...
i guess since your so mature you could have said.... maybe those wires could use some tiding up or something to that degree.... if you notice all the wiring under the hood has been dealt with and yes i need to replace the intake tube but the wiring and such is alot of work to get that clean. so since you started by saying hack this hack that. i believe that makes you immature or jealous.

I was merely being honest and I still believe that is that is a finished product then it is a hack job. Anyone that would allow someone they love to drive on the streets in a car with wires hanging out, especially in front of the shifter, or pieces not securly mounted, is just not smart and unsafe. Sometimes the truth hurts. I would love to see some pics of the finished product as I'm sure it looks great.

As for my car, there's a link in my sig. Unfortunately, as many people, I am my own worst critic. There is really nothing that anyone can point out that I don't want to do twice over. That's just the way cars are ..... everyone has an opinion but I am always open to constructive criticism. Fortunately, Stangnet members have commented (both good and bad) on pictures posted of my car and that has helped me in the ongoing progress of it. I am very thankful for comments.

As a last point 2004Mach, no matter what you do or say, you just don't upset me. It's kind of funny since I consider myself to have a hot temper with a short fuse. However, the more I learn about you the more sorry I feel for your situation and perspective, which I hope is a result of your "youthful" mentality. I really do wish you the best of luck with your build and look forward to seeing some more shots of your car. In the future I will be sure to not comment on them unless it's only positive things.

I think both sides are wrong. The hack comment was a little much. Should have asked the question about it being a progress pic before calling it a hack job. And the other side has to remember not everyone is going to like what you do to your car!

Either way, keep fighting its amusing to everyone else. And I love the nut swingers that come into threads to back up other people... Makes you wonder how many of them only know each other from threads on a message board!

25th - it's really not a fight and I know 2004Mach is never going to agree with me ...... this whole thread is pretty much pointless but I just wanted to let him know that I wish him the best of luck with his cars ... new and old, and despite my post, I'm really not against him in his goal of a "powerful mustang". I'll take a break from this thread now.

This is the funniest thing ever.

If you post any kind of pic on an internet board, you have to be ready for anything. Progress pics are deff. cool. Just don't get mad when someone says something negative. It's just the internet. If you don't think the opinions from the members of this board mean anything, and were all a bunch of *******s, why did you post here in the first place?

If Tunedin posted pics of his car, you would probably sell yours, your girlfriends, your mothers, her cousins, etc.....

You could only hope to reach his level someday.
