I bought one of those from that guy! Checkout the link in my sig (click picture!). It turned out great after gasket match porting, polishing, and 75mm Professional Products "Power" throttle body! Then because I have an 04, to fit the tube for the PCV on the nipple I just slipped some 5/8" (i think) hose over it and then slipped the hose over that and put a clamp on it.

i saw that you sanded the inside of the plenum. was that necessary or did you do it just to help the flow a little? would you recomend this over a c&l. if there is a big differance in the two i would hate to lose power over a $150 plenum after i spend $4500 on a s/c!

I sanded the inside to just help it flow a bit better, yeah. I also ground down some harsh casting and MOST importantly (with ANY plenum really) is I lined up the throttlebody gasket with it, traced where it didn't match up, and ground it down smooth so the air would transition straight into the plenum without hitting a 1mm ridge. Due to factory tolerences, even top end units (such as Accufab) can benefit from having gasket matching done. I

hardly doubt it's any different than the C&L plenum, infact it is identical to the Granetelli plenums I've seen in person (which are "copies" of C&L's plenum).

Also, the guy who sells those has semi-polished models too for $99 (i think), which I figure is basically as much as I did to polish mine atleast.

Die grinder, but Dremel or other rotary tool will work fine. Get some of the conical bits, will make getting a smooth transition easier
