Alright guys these are the plans for the mustang now that the warranty is up.

Throughout the year I will be purchasing the MPH stage 2.5 heads and then a set of VT stage 2 cams. I am also going to buy the slp long tube headers and then switch over to an sct xcal2 tuner.

Next summer i am going to setup a time with Tim at MPH to install these parts and then dyno tune it. I have already emailed him and he said labor would cost 1200 dollars. that does not include the cost of gaskets etc. the dyno tune will be 485 with a chip so i probably wont go ahead and buy a tuner i might just get a chip that he will give me. oh and that 1200 he quoted me is not including the longtubes i forgot to mention those.

I realize that i can make way more power with a blower setup but i want to go the whole NA route i think it will be fun. My goal is to try and make 300rwhp on motor and then ill probably add a 100 shot after that and get some forged internals.

So what do you guys think about that setup and how much hp do you think i could get with that?

i want to see if i can get into the 12.5s all motor so i will also be adding coil overs and probably sub frames and all that good stuff as well to get better traction. its also run through my mind about switching to 4.10s maybe but im not sure how 4.10s will be traction wise with a 100 shot.

Im thinking you could get lower. with stickies and 4:10s, your cams will help with the steap gear... so who knows you may pull a 12.2-12.5

No way you need to spend all that money to run a 12.5 N/A. A local guy ran a 13.1 with just exhaust and intake mods plus Drag Radials and 3.73's. Put in some 4.10s and get good tires and you might be able to run 12's. If not, cams will get you over the edge. Stage 2.5 heads are probably only worth it when you are pushing serious PSI.

yea i know it can be done without the cams. But i want to get into the mid 12s or anywhere in the 12s comfortably. And trap around 110. cause i know with boltons im not going to be trapping 110 or anywhere close lol. heck my brother would still walk away from me if i got good tires.

I just really want an all motor beast.

I guess we just have to see cause if i dont get the heads i probably wont go with stage 2 cams. stage 2 cams dont seem to be any better than the stage 1s on stock heads. most guys i see with stage 2s are dynoing the same or within 5rwhp of the stage 1s so i guess ill have to ask around more and see.
