my new 5 speed notchback is giving me probs.... the other day i was driving around and i noticed it was getting harder and harder to get in gear..then i got to a stop sign and i couldnt move ....i pressed the clutch to the floor and all gears were locked out i just couldnt get into any....i then turned the car off...to see what happens... i pressed the clutch and it went into each gear with no probs at all .....what could it be????

while im down there ide like to get a new clutch kit and shifter as well at the quadrant and adjuster ...which ones should i go with ? im thinking more of less king cobra or centerforce the car is stock for now .. but i plan on doing something later on...

shifter wise im settling on the TRI AX or is there something better out there?
which is the best quadrant /firewall adjuster out there??

Sounds like your clutch is not dis-engaging. Check the cable, it may have stretched or partially broke to the point where it is still attached but won't dis-engage the clutch.

If the stock adjuster is still in tact then you could try pulling up on the clutch pedal. If is working then it might pop up a couple of notches.
Might be worth a shot.

It's probably best to do your upgrades as mentioned though.

My guess is clutch cable stretched.

Try grabbing the clutch pedal. Pull up to you hard and then push the the foor as hard as it will go. It should click if it adjusts
