Ok, when i bought my car the guy put a diablo chip in it and had it tuned on the dyno, im not sure why considering its a light modded n/a car. So the other day i put on a MSD 6a/harness/cap/rotor/wires, everything is done correct nothing is loose. Now my car wont idle the rpms will drop to around 200-300 and i have to give it gas to keep it alive and it bucks under low RPMs but runs great once its moving.

Could the chip be the problem since it was tuned on a stock ignition and now perhaps my mix is too lean with the new hotter spark and i need a new tune or should i look somewhere else for my problem?

I would troubleshoot the MSD some more. Make sure you have a very good ground.

Ok will do, but is it possible the new ignition has affected the tune or is that not even an option? Any help is appreciated

i cant see how getting more spark to the engine would ever make it run worse. go back and check all the wiring on the box.

did you reset the computer? may help. if the car has a dyno tune, take the chip out and see if it runs better

unhook the MSD box or something else(just do one at a time) and run the car again. if your car works like before, you found your culprit.
