Ford will void a warranty on as little as a K&N Air Filter cause of the oil used on them. They'll do it for just about anything even underdrive pulleys. Because a modification is not as serious as a supercharger or nitrous doesn't mean service departments don't red flag you.

I'm not trying to get you to stop modifying your car. By all means go all out with it. But don't expect your warranty to always be there.

My warranty on my whole drivetrain was voided when my car only 2,000 miles on it with only a cold air intake, pulleys, and a short throw shifter. And contacting a lawyer and having them call the service tech and seeking assistance up top in the rankings of ford doesn't help either. And the dealership will laugh at the Magnusson/Moss warranty act.

Yea I kind of figured that before I decided to put in Headers for the car. There's always risk involve when you are trying to accomplished something. I've read many posts about how the dealer would bs and somehow link the problem to the part that CANNOT cause that problem.

When I went for the 3000 miles check up (I have tri-ax). Everything was fine. So, I ask the mechanic rep guy and ask about what can I do to the car that won't void the warranty. I also said, "what's the point of having a performance car when you can't do anything to it?" And he agrees. I asked him about if putting on headers will void the warranty or not. He said that it may void the emission warranty, but other warranty will still be active AS LONG AS I don't mess with the engine internally.

So, basically all bolts on a good to go... But I still have doubts that they will fix my car under warranty with all the bolts on I have if something goes wrong..

Bottom line is.. the word "warranty" should not come between you and your need-for-speed.. :nice:
