Hey guys. Some of you know I had a clutch and flywheel installed about 2 weeks ago. Since then I had a new transmission installed(thanks to a local Ford dealership), anyways, I still have a chirping noise. It pretty much is constant, as soon as I push in the clutch pedal it goes away. I can hear when I am driving also. Just push the pedal in a tad it goes away. A few people said that it is the TOB. Is this true? What do I need to do to fix it. Buy a new one?. It is so annoying and loud. Thanks guys..

it's the TOB... I have been saying for a long time on here to ALWAYS replace the TOB and the clutch fork and pivot ball, becuase it's not worth it to save 60 bucks then have to drop the trans again in a few weeks.

I swapped my clutch and TOB about 6 months ago. The TOB squeaks breifly when changing gears. I'll just have to live with it I guess...

can it do that with a new one also. When I had trhem change the clutch out, I did give them a new Ford TOB? You think they screwed it up installing it.

If it is real loud, they may not have greased it enough.
