Chirping@idle.. WIGGING ME OUT

I just bought my 93 LX 5.0 about two weeks ago. Its in immaculate condition down to the stain free carpet. The only mods is a b303 cam, Off-Road XPIPE, and flows. The guy who i bought the car from, and who installed the products, is a mechanic who i trust and know didnt shortcut anywhere. BUT- i was wondering if any of these mods would lead to a chirping noise at idle. It chirps rhymically with the engine, so im guessing a mount of some sort. And i narrowed the location to the left rear side of the intake. But- its wigging me out, and i was wondering if anyone has advice/experience with this hellova noise.

had you not posted your observations, i would have said to check the pullies on the accessories. you can remove the serp belt real quick and start it for a few seconds and see if the noise is gone.

good luck.

mine chirps at idle occasionally and it ended up being the power steering pump going out. I found out by removing the belt and the chirp went away and then I traced it down to the PS pump.

how can i tell if my clutch cable is adjustable.

and around how much would a new TOB installed cost
if you get under the car and look at the clutch fork, if there is a threaded rod and a couple nuts (LOL) than the cable is an aftermarket adjustable unit.

on a stock quadrant and pawl, one can pull up on the clutch pedal and take slack out of the cable.

good luck.
