chirping noise

i put a new clutch kit with a new throw out bearing, new fork ball, new cable and billet quadrant in my car. when i press the clutch i hear a loud chirping noise and the clutch be hard to press. then it gets easier and the chirping goes away. any idea what it could be?

How did the bearing retainer look on the trans? If it's galled up, that could definitely be a cause of a binding clutch and squeaking. Did you grease the bearing retainer and the throwout bearing/clutch fingers?

i had the retainer pressed out and flipped over and as far as i know he greased everything
