Yea, this sucks. Everything is fixed, i just have to rant, and question about possible better ways to run a brake line?

Basically, my rear shocks suck, and i didnt know it but one of my muffler isolators was shot and ripped in half. I bottomed out in a huge pot hole, which jammed the axle up into the wheel well while at the same time dropping the mufflers down onto the axle, which resulted in the tail pipe flange slicing right through the line. Luckily i was just idling down a driveway, or i could have been screwed big time.

Well to make a long story short, i replaced the brake line (passenger side) and the muffler isolators, and took the car for a test drive. At 20mph, i hit the brakes, and the pedel hits the floor.

So back on the jack stands it goes, only to find out that THE OTHER DAMN SIDE IS BROKE IN HALF. Before you say anything, YES i checked it, and it was fine. I'm guessing it was about due and had seen better days, since it broke in half around some rust right up around the fitting.

SO, back to Autozone i go, get another piece of line, replace the broke line, bleed bleed bleed bleed, and now all is well.

So the tech part is this: How else can i run brake lines, other than the factory path that goes along the back side of the axle? I can't think of any possible way, so i just turned the tail pipe flanges so that they're long ways with the axle, and hoped that between this and the new muffler isolators that it wont happen again.

I've never seen that problem before, I wouldn't think it's very common. I think the best course of action really would be to fix the exhaust and rear suspension, make sure you have a bumpstop in place, as well as the ones on each side of the axle, and not worry about it.
