Elgin, IL.
Well it finally arrived today...after months of going back and forth in my mind on what power adder to choose, the waiting is over. Emay and I are planning to install this within the next week right after it gets polished. The other goodies are the SOS pillar pod, Raptor shift light, AutoMeter Colbalt Boost and Fuel pressure gauges and HT0 spark plugs. Tune is set for 100 octane racing fuel. I'll finally get to put these M&H drag radials to good use.

Here's a few shots of things opened up, and a few from our 90 minutes of tear down:

The two pieces sent for polish in their original form so you can see them later as finished mirrors sort of a before and after..

Beginning to nakedness

Tonite, I'll get the pcm and fuse box relocated, front bumper cover off, core support cut and the heater core hoses modified for routing within the intake valley.

Glenn, don't forget to post up a link to your for sale parts here (CAI and predator) in the event anyone may want them.

Hey Erin, was going to ask you what the hell you've been up to........now I see. I think we need to plan a little get together with all the guys once Glenn's car is done. Looks like I'll be the slowest of the crowd though

My boost is delayed till next year sadly. Looking forward to the finished product - Glenn's car that is.

Hey Dennis, yeah I been busy as all hell.. Fall usually is..

I'm pondering a cruise for about 5 or 6 of us. You, me Randy, Glenn, my brother. Something where we get some good seat time in the cars, but with a destination worth some high quality photographs..

More on that later...

I'm almost done with Glenns car, been taking pics along the way, just haven't posted.. I had to make a few revisions and I'm waiting on a reply back from Kenne Bell due to an issue with belt routing.. I see its common on modular fords as well. Belt actually rubs on a monuting tab for a removed #7 pulley. No way the car can be criven this way. Also need to make revision and provisions to get a good manifold boost pressur reading for the new boost gauge and fab up a way to get the PCV line out of the way of the moto blue fuel rail adapter.

Those three items and he's back on the road.

I'll have pics of the issues and the status thus far up tonight.. hopefully.

Updated pics...

I know Erin will post up some pics as well but here are a few of mine.

Here's a pic of Doctor Boost hard at work...

Glenn, that pulley looks big when your standing in front of the car live, it looks obnoxious in pictures.

We will have to quickly get that thing replace with one about the size of oh, say a dime. 35 lbs sounds good..

Oh and your not allowed to come in the garage with a camera anymore, postin up pics of my skin yamika. I thought you were a friend, now I have to figure this all into my labor rate...

I know takes away the "AW" factor of the blower.

Please...The doctor looks BadAss!

Cars basically done - KB seems to have sent a false tune which is being worked out between Mark and Glenn.

The tune they sent put the fuel pressure at a steady 50 lbs. Not exactly sure how the screwed that up, but they are fixing with a next day air shipment for tomorrow.

Couple other things worth mentioning, the location and orientation of the fuel rails is a piss poor design. To many things over lapping the rails making removal impossible on both sides of the motor without getting very creative. Also, getting to the back two coils sucks.

Outside of that the kit looks real nice once bolted in..

CAI and new MAF location:

CAI flexible hose entry to engine compartment:

New SOS pillar and gauges:

Boost sensor:

New washer bottle location:

Polished work is back:

Manifold in:

Blower in:

My custom work for the under hood pressure gauge and pressure sender, got a little bling factor out of the deal:

Driver side rail:

How's that for clearance:
