have any of you guys tried out chrome paint before?? im thinking of painting some brackets and my pulleys, and a few other things with it, so i'd like to know how it is.....anyone??
Well, don't think you'll be able to see your reflection in it, because its not that impressive. It may look okay, but its still going to look painted and not polished or chromed. I have not painted anything on my car with the paint because I think it would look funny, and if it rubs off (pulleys) may really look odd.
I used the cheap stuff from wally world about 8 years ago(damn I'm getting old! ). It just looked like a high-gloss silver spray paint. I'm sure the good stuff would turn out better...
im pretty sure it was krylon...it was from autozone and it was like $8-9....i not especially looking for a really high gloss.....anything is better than some of the rusty parts i got under the hood
IMHO, the chrome spraycan stuff looks good at first, but after a while it starts to look kinda cheap and faded. Personally, I would go with a nice silver color, or polish it if it's aluminum parts.
But then again, my experience with the chrome paint was 8 years ago, so maybe it's better now.
