Chrome Spinner? WTF?

They're not spinning rims like you see on Escalades and stuff like that, it's the chrome center cap as shown here...it's called a spinner.

I'm no ttrying to be mean when I post this. But do you honestly think Ford would spend that much time on a wheel? Especially on the V6 model. It rotates with the wheel. Just like the original spinners.

They're called "knock-offs". Calling them "spinners" makes it too easy to confuse them with those tacky-a** things some people put on their land yachts!

Since no one has mentioned it, they are called knock-off's because they were used primarily for racing. My father has a '63 vette which came optioned with the original knock off rims, you kick the spinner and the wheel comes off, for racing. 1 lug, the spinner holds the rim on, pretty damn badass from the factory.

That's awesome. Wish ricers had them so I kicking them would be more fun :D .

Those V6 wheels are a retro-take from the old Halibrand wheels used on Cobras and GT40's. The Halibrands used to have spinners, so they've re-created the "look" on the new wheel as an option. Looks bitchin IMHO. However... I wouldn't be buying a V6 unless hell froze over.
