wow, $240 for valve covers..dont think i would pay that price...did you purchase them with a credit card if so contact them they may help you and you might need to talk to someone higher up than the telephone operator at summit...why don't they fit too tall?

i dont talk to the phone operator at summit, i go to the store in tallmadge, ohio and talk to them in person. if it has been on the car, they dont take it back. partly that and ford racing's no return policy on there stuff, i'm kinda screwed.

and yeah, $240 on valve covers. i liked them, they looked awesome and i wanted them on my car. you get what you pay for.

the issue is the oil tube. there was no room for the tb and the c&l to come together. and even if i did, i wouldn't have been able to get a cap on the oil tube

I bought my car with fox covers on them...theres other guys running them also...I'll see if I can get pics for you. You have to modify the oil cap (remove the outside and the intake tube has to be wedged on in there)...so if there fox covers they can be made to fit so you arent out of luck.

you could also grind the part of the lip that obstructs the tube...I think I am gonna do that when I take them off...

hey, I had the same problem with the "cobra" ones I got from summit, and got them returned w/o problems, as long as you didnt damage them and their clean just give them a call, and tell them you screwed up and ordered the wrong ones (dont say anything about installing them)
