Cigarette lighter socket problem...blowing fuse.

I took my cigar lighter apart as it had come loose from the ashtray panel so I could
tighten it up... I put it back together but must have gotten the pieces inside mixed up somewhat and now as soon as I plug the lighter harness in it blows the fuse (which is shared with the horn, which I use regularly).

Can anyone tell me the order the ceramic spacer, washer, nut and "u" shaped piece go in?

just go to the autoparts store and get a new one they are not expensive.

my cig lighter kept blowing the fuse that had my horn and all on it. people on here told me a dime flipped in there and was connecting it. solved my problems. as for the order i dont know... sorry.

So did you get it fixed? Mine is doing the same thing, blowing whenever something is plugged into the socket.

Never mind, I figured out what the problem was.
