Just found out that when they say an item has shipped, they actually mean that they made a label for it. It does not mean that it is in the hands of the delivery service. I placed an order Tuesday night and it is still sitting at their place today which is Thursday. Customer service just told me that it has shipped!!!!

That works the same way for items bought on Ebay also.

Yep, I have seen eBay stuff sit in that stage for several days...

Many places that make their own shipping labels do that. The label is produced and that startes the process.

I would not have had a problem with this so much if they would have sent me the "your order has shipped" email until it actually left their place.

Yeah, I'd call that a foul. "Shipped" generally means that the carrier has it. Not sitting on Betty's Lou's desk beneath a "People" magazine and half eaten jelly doughnut. lol

Maybe send a PM to @Steve@CJPony . He may know who to contact about shipping practices.

Now this problem, I don't have. I ordered something from ebay on Sunday. It arrived Wed. I already got an email from the seller asking me if I'd written my review yet.

I haven't had a chance t plug it in to see if it even works!

Sorry guys the new computer isn't getting me notifications that I have messages. Should be good now.... I hope.

When you get the email that is basically saying that your label was printed (as you should have a tracking number) and the box is either on the truck or in a bin waiting for that service to some and pick up the package. This is no different than any other place I have ever bought from. These systems kick you an email and tracking number but tracking doesn't show information till the driver picks up all the packages.

You should not get an email until it leaves your facility. Your site says same day shipping. My parts did not leave until two days later. LMR does not have this policy. Their parts actually leave when they say. Your customer support kept telling me the parts shipped when they were just sitting in a bin somewhere. And your computer had a problem!! LMR from now on.

I hate that place... They are only 1/2hr away from me, they don't have in stock... Everything is drop shipped from somewhere else.. If I order from somewhere else out of stateI pay no tax also..

I order from LMR a lot and what you said is flat out untrue. From LMR you get at least three emails on the status of your order before it's even "shipped". You get thank you, confirmed, boxing it up, and then finally SHIPPED. Even then when you get the "shipped" email it doesn't mean it on a truck and has left their facility,

It reads,
This message was sent to you at the request of Latemodel Restoration Supply, Inc. to notify you that the shipment information below has been transmitted to UPS. The physical package may or may not have actually been tendered to UPS for shipment. To verify the actual transit status of your shipment, click on the tracking link below.

I've never had much of an issue with CJPP. If I need it asap, I use summit because they are 2 hrs away and will deliver next day. The only complaint inhave is with FedEx. Has to be the worst shipping service of the big three. I prefer ups over anyone.

My computer personally here at the issue not a CJ's shipping computer. I'm not getting notifications for certain things. If your part is in stock it ships that day if ordered by 5PM EST. If you PM your order number I will look at your order and find out what happen. I have no issues making something right if there was a problem on our end.

I invite you here any day of the week that I work and I can prove that statement wrong. We have 2 warehouse that are stocked full of parts and only a handful of drop shipped items.

Everything I ever needed was drop shipped...guys at the counter had an attitude also.. I will never go back or recommend cj pony parts.
